Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation

Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation is part of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Switzerland which monitors Swiss International Development activities and provides humanitarian aid abroad. In the recent past, the agency has funded People in Need’s project establishing educational activities for out-of-school children living in camps in northern Syria, helped strengthen climate information and continuous development of EWS 1294 – a phone based Early Warning System to help prepare locals for disasters which can and has saved lives especially in light of the global pandemic, helped fund PIN’s efforts to create more jobs in Mongolia, supported PIN’s overall global response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
