Bílina: Field social work
People in Need provides an individual consultation service in Bílina and Hostomice. The aim is to find, motivate and support individuals living long-term in difficult life situations which exclude them from society. The basis of the service is field social work. We offer our service to individuals who do not have the skills or resources to manage their situation by themselves. It helps them to identify and solve their problems on their own and have better information on their rights and obligations.
The client always participates as much as possible in solving their situation. Provision of financial resources or material support is not part of the service. The service is free, usually taking place in the client’s own home.
The aim of our service is the successful return of the affected individual to everyday life. Our workers usually deal with problems to do with housing and career, they help with communication with the authorities, private companies, schools, employers etc.
In addition, we offer profession consultation, which are aimed at young people who are currently unemployed and registered with the employment agency. We help them augment their competences essential to finding a job.
