Strengthening EU Commitments: Generation Nutrition’s Response to the EU Pledge at N4G

Generation Nutrition coalition

On 27-28 March 2025, France hosted the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit, bringing together diverse stakeholders from governments, international organisations, philanthropic foundations, civil society groups, academic institutions, and private sector entities. This global gathering focused on securing strong political and financial commitments to address all forms of malnutrition worldwide.

A significant highlight was Team Europe's €6.5 billion pledge, which includes a substantial €3.4 billion contribution from the European Commission for 2024-2027. Nutrition advocates have truly welcomed this commitment.

In response to the European Union's pledges at N4G 2025, the Generation Nutrition coalition has developed a position paper analysing these commitments.
