Phone communication

Data about the Controller: Člověk v tísni, o.p.s. (People in Need), with its registered office at Šafaříkova 24, 120 00 Prague 2, ID No.: 25755277, registered in the Foundations Register managed by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section O, File 119, contact details: dary@clovekvtisni.cz, contact details of the Data Protection Officer: dpo@clovekvtisni.cz. Člověk v tísni, o.p.s. as a personal data controller (hereinafter referred to as the Controller) processes personal data: records of telephone communication with donors and contributors. 

The data is stored for a limited period of time (3 months from the date of communication), is accessible to a limited circle of people who are contractually bound by confidentiality and is protected against unauthorised access. Data processing is carried out by atlantis telecom spol. s.r.o. (personal data processor) on the basis of a contract with the Controller. The Controller does not hand over the personal data to any other persons. 

The processing of personal data is based on: 

  • the performance of the contract, or on the basis of measures aimed at concluding the contract at the request of the data subject (in particular the recording of data for the purposes of setting up the contribution, changes to it, or updating the data); and 

  • the legitimate interest of the Controller (for the purposes of operating and providing quality service to the call centre, handling any requests or suggestions from donors). 

Information on the rights of the data subject: 

  • the right to request information about what personal data the Controller processes, 

  • the right to request an explanation from the Controller regarding the processing of personal data, 

  • the right to obtain personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format if the processing is based on consent or on a contract, 

  • the right to request from the Controller access to such data and to have it updated or rectified or, where appropriate, restricted, and the right to object to processing, 

  • the right to request the Controller to delete such personal data, or the right to withdraw consent (if given) at any time, for example by sending an email or letter to the contact details of the Controller, 

  • the right to contact the Controller or the Office for Personal Data Protection in case of any doubts about compliance with the obligations related to the processing of personal data.
