People in Need (PIN) celebrates its first anniversary since launching www.indikit.net, a user-friendly tool helping aid workers measure the impact of their work.

IndiKit provides aid workers with practical guidance on the use of hundreds of internationally recognized project indicators. “What I like most is how user-friendly IndiKit is – in two or three clicks you get all the information you need. It saves me lots of time”, says Kate Holland from PIN’s Alliance2015 partner ACTED, one of the first users of IndiKit.

One of the main reasons for the website’s growing popularity is that it both responds to aid workers’ needs and saves them precious time. “IndiKit currently receives up to 500 visitors per day and most of them come from regions affected by poverty or humanitarian crises”, explains Petr Schmied who is responsible for IndiKit’s management.
