Hnutí DUHA Jeseníky to take over our projects in Romanian Banat from 2024

At the end of 2023, we will finish our activities in Romanian Banat. All projects supporting Czech citizens will be assumed and further realised by Hnutí DUHA Jeseníky, our partner with experience operating in Banat.
Our fund for helping compatriots will remain, and all funds collected will be transferred to Hnutí DUHA.

Czech villages in Romanian Banat, where around 2000 inhabitants live, are unique cultural phenomena. We have been helping there since 2000 and have enhanced some degraded infrastructure. We built or repaired roads to Czech villages. We fixed the water infrastructure in Bigăr and Ravensca. We were involved in constructing the new school in Saint Helena; we repaired the school in Eibanthal and equipped the computer classrooms. Recently, we have been focusing on the support of sustainable tourism and support of job opportunities right in these villages.
