People in Need (PIN) is one of the largest non-profit organizations in Central and Eastern

Europe active in humanitarian and development aid, human rights and social inclusion.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about finance and looking to grow their career in the non-profit sector.

About the position:

Junior Finance Coordinator will be responsible for the HQ based financial agendas related
to the Syria and Iraq country programs, with potential involvement in the rest of the region. He/she will cooperate closely with the Finance Coordinator based on a specific task split.
The agenda is finance-administrative and we are always aiming to achieve a sustainable mix of repetitive and ad hoc tasks to keep the necessary work dynamics.  

Main requirements:

  • Previous experience in a finance position is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Czech language
  • Communicative level of English (minimum of active B2)
  • Keen eye on details and passion for working with numbers
  • Willingness to travel in the Country programs offices
  • Advanced Excel skills as you will handle Pivot Tables and other complex formulas
  • Ability to communicate clearly with different groups of people and to respect the different cultural background
  • Ability to work independently and effectively
  • Ability to deal with complex agenda
  • Knowledge of SAP, MS Dynamics Nav or other ERP is an advantage
  • For expatriate staff: Having a valid work permit for the Czech Republic
